shiverpeaks BASIC-S netwerkkabel blauw 15 m Cat7 S/FTP (S-STP)

The shiverpeaks BASIC-S networking cable Blue 15 m Cat7 S/FTP (S-STP) is a 15-meter Cat7 patch cable designed for data transmission in home and office networks. It uses S/FTP (S-STP) shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and supports high-speed Ethernet connections. Both ends are fitted with RJ-45 male connectors with gold plating for reliable contact and improved conductivity. The blue jacket provides visual identification and a neat appearance in structured cabling setups.

Advantages

Shielded S/FTP construction offers improved protection against crosstalk and external interference compared with unshielded cables. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure stable contact and corrosion resistance. The 15 m length allows flexible placement of devices while maintaining a single-cable connection for high-speed network links. Cable meets Cat7 specification for enhanced bandwidth and performance in modern Ethernet environments.

Suitable for

• Wired LAN connections between routers, switches and PCs
• Home and small office network installations
• Connecting networked devices where reduced interference is required
• Structured cabling where a visible blue cable is preferred

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your router, switch or networked device and the other connector into the corresponding port on the target device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the locking tab clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference for optimal performance. If running the cable through walls or conduits, follow local installation regulations and use appropriate grommets or cable clips to prevent damage.

Recommendations

For best results use the cable in environments matching Cat7 performance requirements and maintain gentle bends (minimum bend radius as recommended by installer or manufacturer) to preserve shielding integrity; avoid running alongside high-voltage power lines.
