SHIVERPEAKS BS30-39095 Actieve optische USB-A-naar-USB-C-kabel, 20 m, USB 3.2 Gen 2, 10 Gbps, zwart

Long-distance USB connections often suffer from signal loss and electromagnetic interference, limiting data transfer speeds and reliability. The SHIVERPEAKS BS30-39095 solves this by using active optical fiber technology to maintain full 10 Gbps USB 3.2 Gen 2 performance over an impressive 20-meter reach. This cable is ideal for connecting USB-C devices to USB-A hosts across large rooms, studios, or industrial setups where standard copper cables simply cannot perform.

Who is it for

This cable is built for professionals and enthusiasts who need to place USB-C peripherals far from their computer or server. It suits video editors working with high-speed external SSDs, VR/AR developers connecting headsets, or anyone extending USB-C devices like cameras, docking stations, or sensors over long distances without sacrificing speed or stability.

Main features

• Active Optical Cable (AOC) design converts electrical signals to light, eliminating signal degradation over 20 meters.
• USB 3.2 Gen 2 standard delivers data transfer rates up to 10 Gbps, twice as fast as USB 3.0.
• Hybrid construction: optical fiber for data and copper wires for power, enabling USB Power Delivery up to 100W (20V/5A).
• Backward compatible with USB 3.1 Gen 1, USB 2.0, and USB 1.1 devices, ensuring broad connectivity.
• Nickel-plated connectors resist corrosion and provide reliable contact for frequent plugging.
• High EMI/RFI immunity thanks to optical data transmission, making it suitable for electrically noisy environments.
• Durable black PVC jacket protects the internal fibers while remaining flexible for easy routing.

Tips

Because this is a directional active cable, ensure the USB-A connector is plugged into the host (computer) and the USB-C connector into the peripheral. For best results, avoid sharp bends or kinks in the cable, as this can damage the optical fibers. When using Power Delivery, verify that both the host and device support the required voltage and current to achieve full 100W charging.
