HDMI-kabel S/CONN 2m HDMI A HDMI type A (standaard) wit

The ShiverPeaks HDMI Cable S/CONN 2m features HDMI Type A connectors on both ends and a 2‑metre length designed for connecting TVs, monitors, projectors and AV receivers where a short to medium cable run is required. With a data throughput of 8.16 Gbit/s the cable carries high‑definition video and multichannel audio signals, including formats used for 3D content. Gold‑plated contacts improve corrosion resistance and maintain a stable connection while the white jacket offers a discreet, modern appearance in home and office environments.

Advantages

The cable provides reliable transmission of HD video and audio up to the supported bandwidth, with gold‑plated contacts that help reduce signal degradation over time. Its 2 m length offers flexibility for device placement without excessive slack. The use of standard HDMI Type A connectors ensures wide compatibility with consumer electronics and display equipment, and the white finish integrates with light‑coloured interiors.

Suitable for

• Connecting Blu‑ray or media players to HDTVs and AV receivers
• Linking laptops or desktop PCs to external monitors
• Connecting projectors in meeting rooms or classrooms
• Home cinema setups where a 2 m cable run is sufficient

Key specifications

• Connector type: HDMI Type A to HDMI Type A (standard)
• Length: 2 metres
• Maximum data transfer rate: 8.16 Gbit/s
• Audio/video support: high‑definition video, multichannel audio, 3D content
• Contact finish: gold‑plated contacts
• Colour: white

How to use

Insert one HDMI Type A connector into the HDMI output of the source device (for example a Blu‑ray player, game console or laptop) and insert the other connector into the HDMI input of the display or receiver. Ensure both connectors are fully seated to maintain a secure connection. When routing the cable, avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling force to preserve the conductors and connector integrity. Power cycling connected devices may be necessary for the display to detect the input after the cable is connected.

Recommendations

Use this cable for typical home and office AV connections where HDMI Type A is required and the 2 m length is appropriate. For longer runs or installations requiring higher bandwidth (for example 4K60 HDR at full chroma), choose a cable specified for higher data rates. Keep connectors clean and protected when not in use to maintain optimal contact performance.
