Netwerkkabel S/CONN 08-64066 wit 7,5 m Cat6 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN 08-64066 White 7.5 m Cat6 S/FTP is a 7.5-metre Category 6 patch cable designed for reliable wired network connections. Constructed with S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts, this cable supports high-speed data transmission and reduced electromagnetic interference. The white outer jacket blends into home, office, and commercial installations where a discreet cable appearance is preferred.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding combines an overall foil screen with individually shielded pairs to minimize crosstalk and external interference, improving signal integrity over the cable length. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts provide stable contact resistance and corrosion resistance for consistent connectivity. The 7.5 m length offers flexibility for common desk-to-switch or wall-plate-to-equipment runs without excessive slack, while the Cat6 specification supports Gigabit Ethernet and higher-performance network setups within standard installation limits.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet connections in home and office networks
• Connecting switches, routers, modems, and networked devices
• Environmentally sensitive installations requiring reduced electromagnetic interference
• Visible cable runs where a white jacket is preferred for aesthetic integration

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6 performance level suitable for Gigabit Ethernet
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded twisted pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 plugs with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 7.5 metres
• Outer jacket color: White

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to your network device (for example a router, switch, or computer) and the other plug to the corresponding port on the network infrastructure. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the latch clicks to guarantee a secure mechanical and electrical connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, pinching, or prolonged compression and keep it separated from large power cables when possible to maintain shielding effectiveness.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat6 S/FTP cable for links within recommended length limits and in environments where shielding reduces interference. Avoid kinking the cable and maintain bend radii greater than the cable diameter. Where permanent installations are required, test the link with appropriate network testers to verify continuity and performance.
