Netwerkkabel S/CONN 75712 HB 2m Cat6 S/FTP RJ-45 blauw

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN 75712 HB 2m Cat6 S/FTP RJ-45 Blue is a 2-meter Ethernet cable designed to support Cat6 performance and reliable wired connections for home and office networks. The cable uses S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and features RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts to improve contact reliability and signal transfer. The blue jacket identifies the cable in structured cabling setups while offering flexibility for typical installation environments.

Advantages

This Cat6 S/FTP cable provides stable high-speed data transmission up to Gigabit Ethernet rates while the overall braid plus individual foil shielding reduces crosstalk and external noise. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure corrosion resistance and consistent electrical contact. The 2 m length balances reach and minimal excess cable for desk-to-switch connections, and the cable jacket is designed for routine handling during installation and repositioning.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, laptops, and switches in a home office
• Wired connections for VoIP phones and network printers
• Linking network equipment in small business and SOHO environments
• Temporary setups at events or test benches requiring reliable Ethernet

Key specifications

• Cable type: Cat6 (Category 6)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braided shield with individual foil shields for pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 2 meters
• Color: Blue
• Typical supported network: Gigabit Ethernet and lower speeds
• Cable flexibility: suitable for in-desk and standard patch panel routing

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to the Ethernet port of your device and the other connector to a router, switch, or wall outlet. Ensure connectors click into place and that the cable is not sharply bent near the plugs. For best performance, route the cable away from strong power sources and large electrical equipment that can cause interference. The cable length of 2 m makes it suitable for direct connections between nearby rack equipment, desktop systems, and wall-mounted network ports.

Recommendations

The S/CONN 75712 HB Cat6 S/FTP cable is intended for standard indoor networking. For long-term installations in ceilings or conduits, verify local fire-safety requirements and choose suitable in-wall rated cables if required. To maintain signal quality, avoid excessive bending radius and do not run the cable parallel and close to mains power wiring for extended distances.
