Netwerkkabel S/CONN 75717-H 7,5 m Cat6 S/FTP grijs

The S/CONN 75717-H 7.5m Cat6 S/FTP Grey networking cable provides a reliable wired connection for home and office networks. Constructed for Gigabit Ethernet, the cable supports data transfer rates up to 1000 Mbit/s and includes RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts to improve conductivity and resist corrosion. The S/FTP shielding combines overall foil shielding with individually shielded pairs to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, while the 7.5 metre length offers flexibility in device placement without excessive slack.

Advantages

This Cat6 S/FTP cable delivers stable Gigabit performance suitable for high-bandwidth applications. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts enhance signal quality and provide better durability under frequent plugging and unplugging. The combined shielding structure helps maintain signal integrity in environments with potential electromagnetic interference. The grey jacket provides a neutral appearance that integrates easily into residential and professional installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting routers, switches and networked devices for Gigabit Ethernet
• Desktop PCs, network printers and NAS devices
• Structured cabling in small office and home office (SOHO) environments
• Temporary network setups where a 7.5 m cable length is required

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil + individually shielded pairs)
• Length: 7.5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Maximum supported data rate: up to 1000 Mbit/s (Gigabit Ethernet)
• Color: Grey

How to use

Plug one end of the RJ-45 connector into the network port of your router, switch or modem and insert the other end into the network interface of your computer, NAS or other Ethernet-capable device. Ensure connectors click into place to confirm a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and protect it from heavy foot traffic or pinch points. For optimal performance, keep the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference such as large transformers or unshielded power lines.

Recommendations

For consistent Gigabit speeds, use this Cat6 S/FTP cable in end-to-end Gigabit-capable networks and pair it with compatible network equipment. If running the cable through walls or permanent conduits, verify local installation rules and use appropriate cable management and strain relief to avoid damage to the connectors and jacket.
