USB-kabel S/CONN 30-41045 USB 3.2 Gen 2 3 m USB-C zwart

The ShiverPeaks USB Cable S/CONN 30-41045 USB 3.2 Gen 2 3m USB C Black is a 3-metre data cable with USB-C connectors on both ends, supporting USB 3.2 Gen 2 data rates up to 10 Gbit/s. Designed for high-speed data transfer between compatible devices, the cable features gold-plated contacts to improve connectivity and reduce corrosion. Its black outer jacket provides a neutral appearance suitable for desktop, home office, and mobile setups.

Advantages

This USB-C to USB-C cable supports the USB 3.2 Gen 2 standard, enabling up to 10 Gbit/s throughput for fast file transfers and responsive data communication. Gold-plated contacts enhance electrical contact quality and resist oxidation, while the 3 m length offers extended reach for flexible device placement. The cable's symmetrical USB-C connectors allow reversible plug orientation for easier insertion.

Suitable for

• Connecting laptops, tablets, and smartphones with USB-C ports for data transfer
• Linking external SSDs and HDDs that support USB 3.2 Gen 2 speeds
• Transferring large files, media libraries, and backups between devices
• Use in office or home setups where a longer cable run is required

Key specifications

• Connector type: USB-C to USB-C
• USB specification: USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbit/s)
• Cable length: 3 m
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Colour: black

How to use

Connect one end of the cable to the USB-C port of the source device and the other end to the USB-C port of the target device. Ensure both devices support the USB 3.2 Gen 2 specification to achieve maximum data rates; otherwise, the connection will default to the highest mutually supported speed. No drivers are typically required for basic file transfer when using modern operating systems. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and excessive tension that could damage the connectors or internal conductors.

Recommendations

For sustained high-speed transfers, connect to devices with native USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports and avoid daisy-chaining through unpowered hubs. Store the cable loosely coiled and avoid sharp bends near the connectors to prolong lifespan. If using with external storage, ensure the storage device supports the targeted transfer speeds for optimal performance.
