SINGER naainaald N204514M503 (SZ14 BLST) maat 14 voor huishoud- en industriemachines

Replacement sewing machine needle SINGER N204514M503 (SZ14 BLST), size 14, designed for general sewing on medium-weight fabrics. This needle fits a wide range of domestic and industrial SINGER machines and provides consistent stitch formation for repairs, tailoring and everyday sewing projects. Its size 14 gauge and BLST point shape make it suitable for woven and knitted materials where a medium-thickness needle is required.

Advantages

The SINGER size 14 needle delivers reliable penetration and smooth fabric feed with minimal skipped stitches. Manufactured to consistent dimensions, it supports even thread tension and predictable stitch quality across multiple fabric types. The compatibility with many domestic and industrial SINGER models simplifies parts replacement and reduces machine downtime during routine maintenance or project work.

Suitable for

• General garment sewing on medium-weight cotton, linen and blends
• Everyday repairs and hemming
• Home tailoring and dressmaking projects
• Light industrial sewing tasks on compatible SINGER machines

Key specifications

• Needle size: 14 (medium)
• Point type: BLST (ball point/standard tip suitable for a range of fabrics)
• Intended fabrics: medium-weight woven and knitted fabrics
• Compatibility: designed for use with many domestic and industrial SINGER sewing machines
• Use case: general-purpose sewing, repairs, tailoring

How to use

Turn off the sewing machine and raise the needle to its highest position before replacing the needle. Loosen the needle clamp screw, remove the old needle, and insert the SINGER size 14 needle with the flat side (if present) oriented according to your machine’s instructions. Push the needle fully into the clamp, then tighten the clamp screw securely. Thread the machine following the manufacturer’s thread path and perform a test stitch on a fabric scrap of similar weight to confirm correct tension and stitch formation.

Recommendations

Replace the needle regularly — typically after 8–10 hours of sewing or when signs of wear occur — to maintain stitch quality. Match thread strength and type to the fabric and needle size for the best results. Consult your machine manual for exact needle orientation and any model-specific guidelines before installation.
