Snijplank Salter BW072712EU7 van bamboe, rechthoekige keukenplank

This Salter cutting board BW072712EU7 is made from durable bamboo and combines a natural look with a slim, practical profile. The board provides a stable work surface for slicing, chopping and carving, and its size is suitable for preparing family meals and large joints.

Advantages

The textured surface and built-in meat rest reduce slippage and support more even, cleaner slices. Bamboo construction offers a hard-wearing, naturally antibacterial surface that helps protect countertops and is gentle on knives. The rectangular form gives a generous working area while remaining easy to store.

Suitable for

• Carving roasts and large joints
• Chopping vegetables and herbs
• Slicing bread and cold cuts
• Everyday meal preparation for families

How to use

Place the board on a flat, dry surface before use. Position food on the textured side and, when carving meat, rest the joint on the built-in meat rest to minimise movement. Use appropriate knives for the task and slice with steady, even strokes. After use, wash the board by hand with warm water and mild detergent, then dry thoroughly. Avoid prolonged soaking and dishwashers to preserve the bamboo.

Recommendations

To maintain the board, oil it periodically with food-grade mineral oil or a dedicated board oil to prevent drying and cracking. Store in a dry place away from direct heat sources.
