Sony FDA-EP18 oculair accessoire oogkap zwart

Eyepiece cup with a locking slide attachment designed for select Sony cameras. The soft rubber construction fits gently against the eye, reduces stray light and improves comfort during viewfinder use. The lock mechanism prevents accidental detachment and keeps the eyecup securely in place.

Advantages

The sliding lock design prevents the eyecup from being unintentionally removed, and the soft, durable rubber resists being pulled off. The material provides light blockage around the eye for a clearer viewfinder image while maintaining a comfortable seal for extended use.

Suitable for

• Photographers using compatible Sony camera viewfinders
• Shooting in bright conditions where stray light affects viewfinder visibility
• Extended handheld shooting sessions requiring improved eye comfort

Key specifications

• Model: Sony FDA-EP18
• Color: Black
• Material: Soft rubber
• Attachment: Sliding lock mechanism
• Compatibility: Select Sony cameras (check camera model compatibility)

How to use

Align the eyecup with the camera’s viewfinder mount and slide it into place until the lock clicks, confirming secure attachment. To remove, disengage the lock and slide the eyecup off the mount. Ensure the eyecup is clean and free of debris before attaching to maintain a snug fit and proper sealing against stray light.

Recommendations

For best results, store the eyecup away from sharp objects and extreme heat to preserve the rubber. Periodically clean with a soft, dry cloth; avoid solvents or abrasive cleaners that may damage the material.
