Spotting scope Delta Optical Titanium 50ED, 20–60x vergroting, waterdicht

The Delta Optical Titanium 50ED is a compact spotting scope with 20–60× variable magnification and an extra-low dispersion (ED) objective designed to deliver improved contrast and color fidelity for long-distance observation. The waterproof housing protects internal optics against rain and moisture, making the Titanium 50ED suitable for outdoor use in varying weather conditions. Its ergonomic form and moderate weight support portable field use for birdwatching, wildlife observation and target shooting.

Advantages

The ED glass objective reduces chromatic aberration and enhances image sharpness across the zoom range, producing clearer detail at high magnifications. Variable 20–60× magnification gives flexibility to frame distant subjects and adjust viewing distance quickly. The waterproof construction ensures optical performance in wet environments, and the scope’s compact design allows mounting on a tripod or handheld use with reasonable stability. Designed for practical field work, the scope balances optical quality and portability.

Suitable for

• Birdwatching and wildlife observation in the field
• Target shooting and range spotting
• Landscape and long-distance observation
• Outdoor photography assistance when used with a compatible adapter

Key specifications

How to use

Mount the Titanium 50ED securely on a tripod or hold it with steady support. Start at the lowest magnification (20×) to locate the subject, then increase magnification as needed up to 60× for detailed inspection. Use the focus ring to achieve a sharp image and adjust interpupillary alignment or eyecup position for comfortable viewing. After use in wet conditions, wipe external surfaces dry and allow the scope to ventilate before storing in a protective case to maintain performance.

Recommendations

For best results, use the scope on a sturdy tripod when operating above 30× magnification to minimize image shake. Pairing the scope with a compatible tripod head and, if required, a camera adapter optimized for spotting scopes will expand its utility for digiscoping and documentation. Regularly check and clean external lenses with appropriate optical cloths and solutions to preserve image clarity.
