Staalborsel KWB 603030 7 cm

Wheel brush KWB 603030 with HSS steel wire and twist-knot construction, 7 cm diameter and 6 mm shank. Designed for heavy-duty surface preparation tasks such as derusting, removing paint, clinker, scale and welding marks on metal and wood. Its compact wheel shape and narrow profile make it suitable for working on edges, frames, posts, gratings and tubes.

Advantages

The twist-knot HSS steel wire provides aggressive material removal and long tool life. The 7 cm diameter and 6 mm shank allow compatibility with standard rotary tools and drills. Robust construction resists wear during heavy jobs and maintains shape for consistent performance on metal and wooden surfaces.

How to use

Mount the wire wheel on a compatible rotary tool or drill with a 6 mm chuck. Securely tighten the shank and check that the wheel runs true before starting. Operate at the manufacturer’s recommended speeds for wire wheels and apply steady, even pressure while moving across the workpiece. For best results, keep the brush moving to avoid gouging and periodically inspect the wire condition, replacing the wheel if wires become excessively worn or detached.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment: eye protection, gloves and respiratory protection if dust is produced. Do not exceed recommended rotational speeds. Avoid using on fragile or finely finished surfaces where aggressive wire action could cause damage.
