Stanley universeelmes 150 mm uitschuifbaar mes

The Stanley 150mm Retractable Blade Utility Knife is a compact cutting tool designed for precision and safety in everyday tasks. With a narrow body and a retractable 150 mm blade, it provides controlled cutting for materials such as cardboard, plastic film and light laminates. The tool's slim form factor and low weight make it easy to position and manoeuvre during repetitive use.

Advantages

The retractable mechanism allows the blade to be withdrawn fully into the handle when not in use, reducing accidental cuts and enabling safer storage. The lightweight construction minimises hand fatigue during extended tasks, while the compact width enhances access to confined spaces. The simple, robust design supports quick blade extension and retraction for efficient workflow.

How to use

Hold the utility knife with a firm grip and extend the blade to the required length using the slider or retracting mechanism. Position the blade at the start of the cut and apply steady pressure while moving the knife along the cutting line. For thicker materials, use multiple shallow passes rather than a single deep cut. After finishing, fully retract the blade into the handle and store the tool in a safe place out of reach of children.

Recommendations

Use a sharp, undamaged blade for accurate cuts and replace blades according to wear; store the knife with the blade retracted. Wear cut-resistant gloves when working with tougher materials or when additional hand protection is required. Avoid using the utility knife on hardened metals or materials beyond its intended light- to medium-duty range.
