Cuttermes NT Cutter D-401P groen uitschuifbaar mes, compact ontwerp

The NT Cutter D-401P Green retractable blade utility knife is a compact cutting tool designed for everyday tasks such as trimming paper, opening cardboard boxes, cutting tape and light packaging. Its retractable blade mechanism allows the blade to be fully withdrawn into the green plastic body when not in use, reducing accidental contact and simplifying safe storage. The knife’s compact dimensions make it easy to handle and convenient to carry in a pocket, toolbox or workstation.

Advantages

The compact form factor provides precise control for small cutting tasks while minimizing hand fatigue. The retractable blade improves safety by allowing the blade to be stored inside the handle when idle. The lightweight plastic construction balances durability and portability, and the green body makes the tool easy to spot among other equipment. The simple mechanism requires minimal maintenance and supports quick blade extension and retraction for repeated use.

Key specifications

How to use

Hold the knife with a comfortable grip, extend the blade by sliding the retract mechanism forward until the blade locks into position, and make controlled cutting motions along the intended line. For safer handling, retract the blade fully into the body when the knife is not in use. Replace the blade according to wear: open the knife following the manufacturer’s instructions, remove the spent blade and insert a new compatible utility blade, then close and test the retraction mechanism before use.

Recommendations

Use the NT Cutter D-401P for light-duty cutting tasks and avoid forcing the blade through materials that require a heavy-duty knife. Always cut away from your body, use a cutting mat or stable surface to protect work surfaces, and wear protective gloves if handling slippery or tough materials. Store the knife with the blade retracted and keep out of reach of children.
