Stoomstrijkijzer JATA PL619C

The JATA PL619C steam iron features an extra-large ceramic soleplate that provides smooth gliding and even heat distribution for efficient wrinkle removal. With a power rating of 2600 W and compatibility with 230 V mains, the iron heats up quickly and is suitable for everyday garment care. Its compact water tank and multi-colour design in white, grey and blue offer practical use and a modern appearance.

Advantages

The ceramic soleplate ensures low friction and uniform temperature across the surface, reducing the risk of fabric damage. High power (2600 W) shortens heat-up time and improves steam performance while the extra-large soleplate covers more fabric per pass, making ironing faster. The built-in vertical steam function allows steaming of hanging garments and curtains. The iron operates from a standard 230 V supply and includes a 0.45 L water tank for continuous steam distribution.

Suitable for

• Everyday household ironing of shirts, trousers and dresses
• Steaming hanging garments and light curtains using vertical steam
• Smoothing larger items like tablecloths and bed linen due to the extra-large soleplate

Allow the iron to reach operating temperature indicated by the heat control, then glide the ceramic soleplate over the fabric using steady, even strokes. Use the steam function for stubborn wrinkles and the vertical steam setting to refresh hanging garments. Empty the water tank after use if storing the iron for long periods or to reduce mineral buildup.

Recommendations

For best results, sort garments by recommended ironing temperature, start with lower heat settings for delicate fabrics and increase temperature as needed. Use distilled or demineralised water if your tap water is hard to reduce limescale deposits in the steam system.
