Taurus Moments Rapid 6L Snelkookpan KCP4106 RVS

Home cooks preparing hearty stews, tender meats, and quick one-pot meals will appreciate the Taurus Moments Rapid 6L Pressure Cooker. Its 6-litre capacity suits families and batch cooking, while the 18/10 stainless steel body works on all hobs, including induction. The two pressure levels (50 kPa and 80 kPa) let you fine-tune cooking for delicate vegetables or tough cuts, cutting cooking time by up to 70% and saving energy. The triple-layer encapsulated base distributes heat evenly, preventing hot spots and ensuring consistent results. A 5-point safety system, visual pressure indicator, and controlled steam release provide peace of mind. The lid opens and closes with one hand, and the ergonomic handles stay cool during use. The pot is dishwasher safe for easy cleanup, while the lid is best washed by hand to preserve its mechanism.

Why choose it

This pressure cooker dramatically reduces cooking time—up to 70% faster than conventional methods—while preserving vitamins and nutrients. The stainless steel construction is durable and non-reactive, so flavours stay pure. The two pressure settings give you control over texture, from al dente vegetables to fall-off-the-bone meat. The energy savings are substantial, making it an eco-friendly choice for daily cooking. The easy-open lid and heat-resistant handles add convenience, and the dishwasher-safe pot simplifies cleanup.

Ideal use cases

• Weeknight family dinners: cook beans, lentils, or stews in minutes.
• Meal prep: batch-cook grains, soups, and sauces for the week.
• Tenderising tough cuts: transform inexpensive meats into succulent dishes.
• Preserving nutrients: steam vegetables quickly to retain vitamins.
• Energy-conscious cooking: reduce hob time and electricity/gas usage.

Good to know

The visual pressure indicator lets you see when the cooker is pressurised, and the controlled steam release valve allows safe depressurisation. The lid mechanism is designed for one-hand operation, making it easy to open and close even when your other hand is busy. While the pot is dishwasher safe, hand washing the lid will prolong the life of the sealing ring and valve. The cooker is CE certified and backed by Taurus quality.
