The Tefal Easy Fry EY1308 is a compact hot air fryer with a 3.5 L cooking basket and 1030 W power designed for everyday small-batch cooking. It uses rapid hot air circulation to crisp food with little or no added oil, offering a practical alternative to traditional deep frying. The unit has a single-dial rotary control for adjusting temperature and time, a removable non-stick basket for easy cleaning, and a compact footprint suitable for kitchen counters with limited space.

Advantages

The appliance delivers fast heating through a focused hot air system that reduces cooking time and energy consumption compared with larger or conventional ovens. Its 3.5 L capacity is suitable for portions for one to three people, and the single-dial rotary control provides simple, intuitive operation without complicated settings. The non-stick basket and detachable tray simplify cleaning, while the compact design allows convenient storage. The fryer supports lower-fat cooking since it crisps food using hot air circulation rather than large amounts of oil.

• Heating method: rapid hot air circulation
• Finish: black exterior
• Removable non-stick basket and drip tray for cleaning

How to use

Place the fryer on a stable, heat-resistant surface and plug into a suitable power outlet. Insert the basket, add the food in a single layer where possible, and set the temperature and time using the rotary control according to the type and quantity of food. For many frozen snacks, no additional oil is required; for fresh items, lightly coat with oil if desired to improve browning. During cooking, you may shake or turn items halfway through to ensure even crisping. After the cycle finishes, allow the unit to cool slightly before removing the basket and transferring food to a plate. Clean the basket and tray according to the manufacturer’s instructions, ensuring the appliance is unplugged and cooled before maintenance.

Recommendations

For best results, avoid overfilling the basket — cook in smaller batches for consistent browning. Preheat briefly when cooking thicker items, and use a light spray of oil on fresh vegetables or meat to enhance texture. Regularly remove crumbs from the tray to maintain airflow and performance.
