Tefal Pro Express Ultimate II GV9712 3000 W 1,2 L Durilium Airglide strijkzool blauw, wit

The Tefal Pro Express Ultimate II GV9712 is a steam generator iron designed for efficient home ironing. With 3000 W of power and a Durilium Airglide soleplate, it provides fast heat-up and smooth gliding across a range of fabrics. The appliance features a removable 1.2 L water tank, a high steam boost up to 590 g/min for tackling stubborn creases, and a vertical steam function for steaming hanging garments and curtains. Compact dimensions and a 1.6 m cord make it suitable for frequent use and convenient storage.

Advantages

The powerful 3000 W heating system shortens heat-up time and maintains consistent steam output for uninterrupted ironing sessions. The Durilium Airglide soleplate offers low-friction gliding and even heat distribution to reduce fabric friction and snagging. A high steam boost addresses deep wrinkles while the vertical steam mode allows quick freshening of garments without an ironing board. The removable 1.2 L tank supports extended ironing without frequent refills, and the unit’s balanced design helps manage the combined weight of iron and generator during use.

Suitable for

• Frequent household ironing of shirts, trousers and bed linen
• Fast removal of deep creases from heavy fabrics
• Vertical steaming of suits, dresses and curtains
• Long ironing sessions where fewer refills are required

How to use

Fill the removable 1.2 L water tank with tap water up to the indicated level and securely reattach it to the base before switching on. Allow the unit to heat up until the ready indicator signals operation, then select the appropriate steam setting for the fabric you intend to iron. For regular ironing, glide the iron steadily over the fabric; use the steam boost for persistent creases and the vertical steam function for garments on hangers. After finishing, switch off the appliance, allow it to cool, and empty any remaining water if storage or transport is planned.

Recommendations

Use distilled or demineralised water if your local water hardness is high to reduce scale build-up. Choose steam settings appropriate to fabric type and consult garment care labels. For delicate fabrics, test on an inconspicuous area first and avoid prolonged steam exposure. Regularly descale following the manufacturer’s instructions to maintain steam performance and prolong the appliance life.
