Coaxkabel Preisner TAK2030 3 m IEC wit

The Preisner TAK2030 3m IEC White coaxial cable by Televes is a 3-meter cable with IEC male connectors on both ends, intended for reliable connection of audio and video devices. Its construction focuses on consistent signal transmission with reduced loss and interference, making it suitable for domestic and professional AV setups. The white exterior offers a discreet appearance for visible installations and helps integrate the cable into home entertainment systems or wall-mounted equipment.

Advantages

The cable provides stable RF signal transfer over a 3-meter length with impedance-matched IEC connectors to minimize reflections. Its shielding and conductor design reduce electromagnetic interference and maintain picture and sound quality. The white outer jacket resists abrasion and complements light-colored walls and devices, while the flexible sheath allows straightforward routing behind furniture or along skirting boards.

How to use

Connect one IEC connector to the antenna or RF output of the source device and the other IEC connector to the corresponding input on the television, set-top box, or tuner. Ensure connectors are fully seated to maintain a solid electrical connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and pinching; secure with cable clips or ties where necessary. For wall-mounted devices, use appropriate cable management to keep the installation tidy and prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

Use the cable for distances up to 3 meters to keep signal loss minimal. Avoid running the coaxial cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines to reduce potential interference. If longer runs or outdoor installation are required, select a cable rated for those conditions. Inspect connectors periodically for corrosion or wear and replace the cable if signal degradation is observed.
