Kabeladapter Preisner FSQ2 F naar F zilver

The Preisner FSQ2 F to F Silver cable gender changer is a compact adapter designed to join two coaxial cables or to change connector orientation when two female F-type ends need to be linked. Finished in silver, the adapter provides a uniform metal appearance and a simple mechanical connection for RF signals in consumer and professional AV installations.

Advantages

This F to F gender changer offers a straightforward, tool-free connection that maintains signal path continuity between compatible coaxial leads. The metal construction contributes to mechanical durability and shielding continuity, while the standardized F-type interface ensures compatibility with common TV, satellite and cable fittings. Its small size facilitates installation in tight spaces and behind equipment racks.

How to use

To use the adapter, align the male F-type connector of each coaxial cable or device with the female ends of the Preisner FSQ2 and push or screw them together until hand-tight. Ensure the center conductors are properly seated and that the threaded connection is secure but not overtightened. The adapter requires no additional tools for standard installations; in tight or concealed locations a small wrench may be used carefully to finish the connection.

Recommendations

Use the adapter within indoor environments or protected enclosures to avoid prolonged exposure to moisture and corrosive conditions. For best RF performance, keep connector threads and center contacts clean, and avoid mating excessively corroded or damaged cables. If used in critical long-run or high-frequency installations, verify signal levels after installation and consider using a low-loss, weatherproof coupler for outdoor or exposed connections.
