How to use

Prepare the coaxial cable by stripping the outer jacket and dielectric to expose the conductor and shielding according to the connector manufacturer’s instructions. Insert the connector onto the cable, position the assembly in the crimper’s die, and apply steady pressure on the handles until the crimp is complete. Inspect the crimp visually and, if available, verify electrical continuity and signal quality with appropriate test equipment.

Recommendations

Use the tool with connectors and cable types recommended by the connector manufacturer. Maintain the crimper by keeping the moving parts clean and lubricated as needed, and store it in a dry place to prevent corrosion. Replace the tool if dies become worn or if crimps no longer meet required mechanical or electrical specifications.
