THERMALTAKE PC-ventilator – SWAFAN EX14 ARGB Sync TT Premium Edition – 14 cm – zwart – 3-pack

SWAFAN EX14 ARGB White features a magnetic force quick-connect system for ARGB fans while retaining the swappable fan blade design. Daisy-chaining up to three fans per cable simplifies connections and improves cable management during PC assembly. Two independent LED rings with 20 LEDs (inner ring: 6, outer ring: 14) provide 16.8 million colors and support synchronization with 5V addressable RGB motherboard headers.

Advantages

The magnetic force quick-connect combines the 12V PWM power cable and the 5V ARGB lighting cable into a single magnetic connector, allowing adjacent fans to snap together and form a daisy chain for power and lighting. This reduces installation time, minimizes cable clutter, and makes cleaning and maintenance easier thanks to the swappable blades. The fan is engineered to maintain optimal cooling performance even when mounted on thick radiators, large air coolers, or in chassis with multiple filters.

Key specifications

• ARGB lighting: 16.8 million colors, two LED rings (20 LEDs total; inner 6, outer 14)
• Magnetic quick connect: combines 12V PWM and 5V ARGB into one magnetic connector
• Daisy-chain capability: up to 3 fans per cable
• Swappable fan blades: removable for cleaning and maintenance
• Compatibility: supports 5V addressable RGB headers and sync with ASUS Aura Sync, GIGABYTE RGB Fusion, MSI Mystic Light Sync, ASRock Polychrome

How to use

Place two or more SWAFAN EX14 fans side by side so their magnetic connectors align; the magnets will draw the frames together and establish both the 12V PWM power and 5V ARGB lighting connections. Continue daisy-chaining up to three fans per cable as needed. For cleaning, pop out the swappable blades, wash them if desired, dry thoroughly, and apply the included bearing lubricant before reassembly. Connect the ARGB cable to a 5V addressable RGB header on a compatible motherboard to control lighting via the motherboard RGB software.

Recommendations

Use a compatible 5V addressable RGB motherboard header and the manufacturer’s RGB software (ASUS Aura Sync, GIGABYTE RGB Fusion, MSI Mystic Light, ASRock Polychrome) to control lighting. When washing fan blades with water, ensure they are fully dry and re-lubricated before powering the fans. Do not exceed three fans per daisy-chain cable.
