TP-Link AXE5400 Whole Home Mesh Wi-Fi 6E systeem (tri-band)

The TP-Link Deco XE75 Wi-Fi 6E is a tri-band mesh router system engineered to provide broad wireless coverage and high data throughput for homes and small offices. Supporting the 6 GHz band in addition to 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, the Deco XE75 offers reduced interference, increased capacity for connected devices, and improved performance for demanding tasks such as 4K streaming, online gaming, and large file transfers. The unit integrates with the Deco app for guided setup and network management, and includes built-in security features to protect connected devices and user data.

Advantages

The Deco XE75 leverages Wi‑Fi 6E tri-band technology to deliver higher speeds and lower latency compared with previous generations, while mesh capability ensures consistent coverage across multiple rooms. Automatic band steering and intelligent device prioritization optimize performance for active applications. Built-in network security and parental controls simplify protection and management of connected devices without the need for separate security subscriptions for basic functions.

Suitable for

• Multi-room homes and small office environments requiring seamless Wi‑Fi coverage
• High-bandwidth activities such as 4K/8K video streaming and cloud backups
• Online gaming and video conferencing with low-latency demands
• Households with many smart devices and IoT appliances

Key specifications

• Wireless standard: Wi‑Fi 6E (tri-band: 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, 6 GHz)
• Mesh networking support for whole-home coverage
• Concurrent connections: optimized for multiple simultaneous devices
• Security: integrated network protection and parental controls
• Management: mobile app setup and network management (Deco app)
• Ports: gigabit Ethernet ports for wired backhaul and device connections

How to use

Install the Deco XE75 by connecting a primary unit to your modem via an Ethernet cable, then power on the unit and follow the step-by-step instructions in the Deco app to add additional nodes and configure the mesh network. Use the app to name the network, set a secure password, and enable security features or parental controls as required. Place additional Deco units in central locations of other rooms to extend coverage; the system will automatically manage routing and band allocation to maintain optimal performance.

Recommendations

Position Deco units away from large metal objects and sources of interference such as microwaves and cordless phones; for best results, place nodes at mid‑height and in open areas. Use the 6 GHz band for high-demand client devices that support Wi‑Fi 6E, while leaving legacy devices on 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz to preserve capacity. Regularly update firmware via the Deco app to maintain performance and security.
