The Turtle Beach Recon 50 is a wired gaming headset designed to improve audio and comfort on Nintendo Switch and other platforms. It features 40 mm over-ear speakers, a high-sensitivity detachable microphone for clear chat, a 1.2 m cable, and a lightweight fold-flat design with synthetic leather ear cushions. The headset is available in red and blue and connects via a 3.5 mm jack for use with consoles, PC and mobile devices.

Advantages

The Recon 50 offers a lightweight, comfortable build suitable for long sessions, full-size synthetic leather ear cushions, and convenient in-line controls. Its 40 mm drivers deliver clear audio reproduction and the detachable high-sensitivity mic provides reliable voice capture for in-game and online chat. Fold-flat earcups and a 1.2 m wired connection simplify storage and compatibility.

Suitable for

Gaming on Nintendo Switch
PlayStation and Xbox consoles with 3.5 mm headset support
PC and mobile devices with 3.5 mm audio jack
Extended gameplay sessions where comfort is important

Key specifications

How to use

Plug the 3.5 mm connector into the headset jack of your Nintendo Switch, console controller, PC or mobile device. Adjust the headband for a comfortable fit and position the ear cushions over your ears. Use the inline controls to adjust volume or mute the microphone as needed. Recommendations

For best comfort during long sessions, ensure ear cushions sit evenly over your ears and take occasional breaks. Store the headset folded flat to reduce wear on the ear cups and avoid exposure to moisture or extreme temperatures.
