The Armac Rack PSW series UPS R/1000I/PSW is a Line-Interactive uninterruptible power supply with 1 kVA (800 W) output capacity, designed for mounting in 19" rack server cabinets or for tower placement. Equipped with a 9 Ah battery, pure sine wave output during battery operation and four IEC 320 C13 outlets, it provides regulated voltage, surge protection and battery-backed power to maintain operation of servers, workstations and other energy-demanding devices during power interruptions.

Advantages

The UPS delivers a pure sine wave on battery, enabling reliable support for devices with motors or heaters (for example laser printers, scanners, gates or central heating furnaces). It features AVR (automatic voltage regulation) via an autotransformer to stabilise incoming voltage, a microprocessor control for automatic charging and safe restart, and an overload protection module that shuts down output if necessary. How to use

Install the UPS into a 19" rack using the supplied mounting ears or the recommended R/0019 mounting rail set for improved stability, or place it vertically using the included stands. Connect the UPS to the mains, attach equipment to the four IEC C13 outlets and connect the USB cable to a PC if monitoring or automatic shutdown is required. The microprocessor-controlled unit charges the battery in standby mode and will switch to battery operation automatically during mains failure, supplying a pure sine waveform to connected devices.

Recommendations

Position the UPS in a well-ventilated area inside the rack or as a tower, avoid placing it near heat sources, and use the R/0019 rail set for secure long-term installation. Regularly test battery runtime and replace the battery according to operating hours and manufacturer guidance to ensure continuous protection.
