The ASUS ROG Destrier Core is a universal gaming chair that combines an ergonomic, cyborg-inspired design with durable materials and adjustability for extended play. It has a padded seat and breathable mesh elements supported by a Nylon frame, and it supports a maximum user weight of 150 kg. Dimensions include a width of 720 mm, depth of 840 mm and an adjustable height range from 1290 mm to 1375 mm.

Advantages

The chair delivers targeted support through an adjustable headrest and lumbar support, while padded armrests include a special elevation mode tailored for mobile gaming. Breathable materials and an open design provide improved airflow, and a sturdy Nylon frame and castor wheels ensure stability and mobility. The finish is black and the chair is suitable for a range of user sizes up to 150 kg.

Suitable for

  • Long gaming sessions and esports use
  • Streamers and content creators who need adjustable support
  • Home office use requiring ergonomic seating
  • Users up to 150 kg who want a durable, breathable gaming chair

Key specifications

  • Brand: Asus (ROG)
  • Model: Destrier Core (MPN 90GC01P0-MSG010, EAN 4711387618608)
  • Maximum user weight: 150 kg
  • Dimensions (W x D): 720 mm x 840 mm
  • Height (min–max): 1290 mm – 1375 mm
  • Weight: 25 kg
  • Seat and backrest colour: Black
  • Frame material: Nylon (durable frame)

How to use

Assemble the chair according to the supplied instructions, ensuring all fasteners are tightened and the castor wheels are fitted to the base. Adjust the seat height to a comfortable position so that feet rest flat on the floor and knees are at approximately 90 degrees. Use the adjustable headrest and lumbar support to align the spine, and set armrest height and elevation mode for comfortable hand and wrist positioning during desktop or mobile gaming.

Recommendations

Regularly check and tighten screws, keep the breathable mesh clean with a soft brush or vacuum, and avoid exposing the chair to direct sunlight for prolonged periods. For best ergonomics, take periodic breaks during long sessions and readjust lumbar and headrest support as needed.

6/10

Eindoordeel: Although the Asus ROG Destrier is an impressively comfortable ergonomic gaming chair, it's not without its flaws. Its subjectively boring design, flimsy armrests, and annoyingly awkward controls make it miss the mark of joining the top gaming chairs...

Pluspunten
  • Comfortable even with prolonged use
  • Easy to put together
  • Great for mobile and desktop gaming
  • Highly adjustable head cushion
Minpunten
  • Awkwardly placed height/tilt/depth controls
  • Flimsy armrests
  • Uninspiring design
