Unmanaged switch LevelOne GSW-2457 24-poorts Gigabit

GSW-2457 is a 24-port Gigabit Ethernet switch designed to upgrade networks to 1000 Mbps. With a switching capacity of 48 Gbps, it delivers Gigabit connections to multiple devices and increases the speed of your network backbone for faster file transfers and smoother multimedia delivery.

Advantages

The switch supports full Gigabit performance on 24 ports while remaining cost-effective and simple to deploy. It handles multiple simultaneous users and bandwidth-intensive applications, allowing large CGI, CAD, video and other multimedia files to be transferred quickly without noticeable lag.

Key specifications

• Ports: 24 x Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000 Mbps)
• Switching capacity: 48 Gbps
• Auto MDI/MDI-X: supported on all ports
• Operation: Plug-and-play, no configuration required

How to use

Connect devices with standard straight or crossover Ethernet cables as needed; each port supports auto MDI/MDI-X so special uplink ports are not required. Plug the switch into power, connect your servers, computers, routers or additional switches to the 24 Gigabit ports and data transfer begins immediately.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, connect bandwidth-heavy devices such as servers and NAS units to the switch and ensure cabling supports Gigabit speeds (Cat5e or higher). Place the switch in a well-ventilated area and verify network configuration on connected devices if advanced features are required.
