USB-A naar USB-B kabel Manhattan 345408 5 m stekker naar stekker zilver

Manhattan USB-A to USB-B Cable (model 345408) is a 5 m, male-to-male USB 2.0 data cable designed for connecting printers, scanners, external drives and other USB peripherals to desktop and notebook computers. The cable supports Hi-Speed USB data rates up to 480 Mbps, features gold-plated contacts, magnetic shielding and a translucent silver jacket for durability and reliable signal transmission. A fully moulded boot with strain relief reduces connector wear and helps prevent data loss due to cable stress.

Advantages

This USB-A to USB-B cable supports USB 2.0 Hi-Speed transfers up to 480 Mbps and is suitable for Windows and Mac systems. Gold-plated contacts improve conductivity and resist corrosion, while magnetic shielding and full moulded boots with strain relief minimise EMI and mechanical stress. The 5 m length provides extended reach for workstations and peripheral placement without additional adapters.

Suitable for

• Connecting printers and multifunction devices to computers
• Linking scanners and external optical drives
• Connecting USB external enclosures or hubs to hosts
• Temporary or permanent workstation cable runs where 5 m length is required

How to use

Connect the USB-A plug to an available USB port on your computer and the USB-B plug to the peripheral device's USB-B port. Ensure both devices are powered on and recognised by the operating system. For optimal performance, avoid tight bends and excessive tension near the connectors; position the cable to minimise electromagnetic interference from large power supplies or unshielded cables.

Recommendations

Use this cable for standard USB 2.0 devices requiring reliable wired connections at distances up to 5 m. For sustained high-throughput or longer distances, consider checking device driver support and using shorter runs or active/extender solutions if needed.
