Vivolink PROUSBCBMM10 USB-kabel USB 3.2 Gen 1 (3.1 Gen 1) 10 m USB C USB B zwart

The Vivolink PROUSBCBMM10 is a 10 m USB cable with a USB‑C connector on one end and a USB‑B connector on the other. It supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 (also known as USB 3.1 Gen 1) with a maximum data transfer rate of 5 Gbit/s and is intended for connecting modern laptops that have only USB‑C ports to USB3.0/USB‑B devices such as cameras, audio interfaces or printers. The integrated converter supports both USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 communication, providing compatibility with a range of peripherals.

Advantages

This 10 m Vivolink cable enables long‑distance, high‑speed connections without the need for separate adapters. The USB‑C to USB‑B wiring with built‑in conversion preserves USB 3.2 Gen 1 speeds up to 5 Gbit/s while remaining backward compatible with USB 2.0 devices. Its black outer jacket and 10 m length make it suitable for meeting rooms and installations where equipment must be placed away from the laptop.

Suitable for

• Connecting USB‑B devices (e.g. cameras, audio interfaces, printers) to USB‑C only laptops
• Meeting rooms and conference setups requiring 10 m reach
• Recording and streaming setups where stable USB 3.0 bandwidth is needed

Key specifications

• Connector 1: USB C
• Connector 2: USB B
• USB version: USB 3.2 Gen 1 (3.1 Gen 1) — up to 5 Gbit/s
• Cable length: 10 m
• Colour: Black

How to use

Connect the USB‑C plug to the laptop's USB‑C port and the USB‑B plug to the peripheral device. Ensure both devices are powered on; the cable's internal converter will negotiate the highest mutually supported USB mode (USB 3.2 Gen 1 or USB 2.0). For long runs, route the cable to avoid tight bends and avoid placing heavy objects on it to maintain signal integrity.

Recommendations

For best performance, use with devices that support USB 3.0/USB 3.2 Gen 1 and avoid excessive cable coiling. If you experience intermittent connectivity with very old USB‑B devices, check device drivers and try a shorter certified cable if possible.
