USB-C-adapter ShiverPeaks 13-40006, USB 3.1 haakse stekker 180°

The ShiverPeaks USB-C adapter 13-40006 provides a right-angle USB 3.1 connection with a 180° orientation designed to reroute cables and reduce mechanical stress on device ports. This compact adapter supports USB 3.1 signalling for data transfer and charging, and is intended for use with laptops, smartphones, tablets and other USB-C peripherals when space is limited or when a low-profile cable exit is required.

Advantages

The right-angle 180° connector lowers cable protrusion and helps prevent bending or accidental disconnection at the device port. Compatibility with the USB 3.1 signal standard enables high-speed data transfer and device charging where the host and peripheral both support USB-C 3.1. Its compact form factor makes it simple to carry and position without adding significant bulk to the cable or device.

Suitable for

• Laptops with confined side or rear ports
• Smartphones and tablets used with protective cases
• Docking stations and portable hubs where cable routing is constrained
• Peripherals that require reduced cable strain at the connector

Key specifications

• Connector orientation: right-angle 180° USB-C
• Signal standard: USB 3.1 compatible
• Functionality: data transfer and device charging
• Form factor: compact inline adapter
• Compatible devices: USB-C equipped laptops, phones, tablets and peripherals

How to use

Insert the adapter into the device’s USB-C port with the right-angle connector aligned to the intended cable routing direction, then connect the USB-C cable to the adapter. Ensure both connected devices and the cable support USB 3.1 if high-speed data transfer is required. The adapter does not require drivers; use it as you would a regular USB-C connection for charging and data exchange. When removing, hold the adapter close to the connector to avoid strain on the cable or port.

Recommendations

To maximize longevity, avoid twisting the cable sharply at the adapter and check that the adapter and cable are fully seated before applying force. For best performance, use USB-C cables and host devices that support USB 3.1 signalling and adequate power delivery for charging needs.
