Kabel Edimax UC4 0,5 m 40 Gbit/s zwart stekker op stekker

EDIMAX UC4 Thunderbolt 3 USB-C cable provides a single-cable solution for high-speed data, audio and video transfer and power delivery between USB-C devices. With support for up to 40 Gbps data throughput and up to 240 W bidirectional USB Power Delivery (model-dependent), the cable is suitable for connecting laptops, docks, monitors, external storage and other Thunderbolt 3/USB-C peripherals.

Advantages

The UC4 cable supports very high data rates up to 40 Gbps and can carry authentic high-quality audio and video to a single 5K display or to dual 4K displays when used with compatible docks or hosts. It delivers bidirectional power delivery up to 240 W on supported models and maintains compatibility with a wide range of USB-C and Thunderbolt devices. The cable is built with durable materials and a tangle-resistant design, rated for extensive insertion and bending cycles.

Key specifications

• Connector type: USB-C to USB-C (Thunderbolt 3 compatible)
• Maximum data transfer: up to 40 Gbps
• Power delivery: up to 240 W (5 A / 20 V) — note: UC4-010TB V1 supports up to 100 W only
• Display support: single 5K or dual 4K (with compatible host/dock)
• Compatibility: USB4, USB 3.2, USB 3.1, USB 2.0, Thunderbolt 3/2, DisplayPort 1.4, DP Alt Mode, PCIe 3.0
• Construction: 30 AWG copper conductors, TPE jacket
• Durability: 25,000+ insertion cycles, 12,000+ bending cycles

How to use

Connect one USB-C end of the UC4 cable to a Thunderbolt 3/USB-C host such as a laptop or dock and the other end to a compatible device such as a monitor, external SSD, or docking station. For dual 4K displays, connect through a Thunderbolt 3 or 4 dock that supports multiple video outputs. Ensure both host and peripheral support the desired features (USB4/Thunderbolt, PD power levels, DisplayPort Alt Mode) to achieve maximum data, video and charging performance.

Recommendations

Verify device compatibility and required power delivery levels before use. Actual performance (data rate, resolution, and charging) depends on the connected devices and environmental factors. Follow the device manufacturer’s instructions and safety guidelines when using high-power delivery.
