USB-C-adapter ShiverPeaks 13-60001 90°-haakse stekker (links/rechts)

The ShiverPeaks USB-C adapter 13-60001 with a 90° angled connector provides a compact solution to change the exit direction of a USB-C cable. Designed for reversible USB-C plugs, the adapter redirects the cable to the left or right to reduce strain on the connector and improve access to crowded or recessed ports on laptops, tablets, smartphones and other devices. Its low-profile design helps maintain a stable connection while enabling cleaner cable routing in tight spaces.

Advantages

The angled USB-C adapter reduces mechanical stress on the cable and device port by diverting bending forces away from the plug. It offers a slim footprint that preserves access to adjacent ports and facilitates cable management behind desks or in compact setups. Constructed for compatibility with standard USB-C connectors, the adapter maintains a straightforward plug-and-play experience without additional drivers or configuration.

Suitable for

• Redirecting USB-C cables on laptops to prevent interference with mouse or desk edges
• Connecting smartphones or tablets where direct cable exit would block cases or stands
• Installing peripherals in tight workstations with limited port clearance
• Protecting USB-C ports from repeated bending in mobile or portable setups

Key specifications

• Connector orientation: 90° angled, available for left or right exit
• Connector type: USB Type-C male-to-female adapter compatible with reversible plugs
• Form factor: low-profile, compact adapter for tight port areas
• Compatibility: designed for standard USB-C ports on laptops, tablets, smartphones and peripherals
• Installation: plug-and-play, no software required

How to use

Insert the adapter’s USB-C male end into the device’s USB-C port and connect the USB-C cable to the adapter’s female socket. Ensure the adapter is oriented so the cable exits in the desired left or right direction to avoid contact with surfaces or other ports. For initial use check that the connection is fully seated and that the cable has enough slack to avoid tension at the joint.

Recommendations

Use the adapter where port clearance or cable routing is constrained and avoid excessive twisting; periodically inspect the connection for wear if used frequently. If high-speed data transfer or specific alternate modes (e.g., video over USB-C) are required, verify compatibility with your cable and device.
