USB-kabel Helos 014683 USB 3.2 Gen 1 3m USB A USB B blauw

The Helos 014683 USB cable is a 3-metre USB 3.2 Gen 1 (also referred to as USB 3.1 Gen 1) data cable with male USB A and USB B connectors. Designed for wired connections between computers, printers, scanners and other peripheral devices, this blue cable supports high-speed data transfer and maintains signal integrity over its 3 m length. The durable outer jacket and standard connector housings provide a reliable physical connection for office and home setups.

Advantages

This USB A to USB B cable supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 data rates, offering significantly faster throughput than USB 2.0 for compatible devices while remaining backward compatible with older USB ports. The 3 m length offers extended reach without relying on adapters, and the male-to-male connectors ensure straightforward plug-and-play connectivity. The blue jacket makes the cable easy to identify among other leads and helps with cable management in multi-device environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop or laptop computers to printers and multifunction devices
• Linking computers to audio interfaces, external drives or lab equipment that use USB B
• Replacing or extending USB A–B connections in offices, studios and home workstations

Key specifications

• Connector 1: USB Type A, male
• Connector 2: USB Type B, male
• USB standard: USB 3.2 Gen 1 (3.1 Gen 1)
• Cable length: 3 m
• Colour: Blue

How to use

Plug the USB A connector into the host computer or USB hub and insert the USB B connector into the peripheral device’s corresponding port. Ensure both ends are fully seated to establish a secure connection. The cable supports plug-and-play operation with operating systems that include native USB drivers; additional drivers may be required for some specialised equipment. When disconnecting, remove the cable by gripping the connector housing rather than pulling the cable itself to avoid strain on the termination.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, avoid tight bends and heavy kinks along the cable length and keep the cable away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference. If you need longer runs, use an active USB extension or a powered USB hub to maintain signal integrity and device power. Regularly inspect connectors for debris or damage before use.
