USB-kabel Satechi ST-U4C25M USB4 Gen 3x2 0,25 m zwart grijs

The Satechi USB4 cable (ST-U4C25M) uses next-generation USB4 Gen 3x2 technology to provide high-bandwidth data and video transmission between USB-C devices. With USB-C connectors on both ends and a compact 0.25 m length, the cable supports data transfer rates up to 40 Gbit/s, 8K video output, and up to 100 W USB Power Delivery for host charging. Its black and grey design fits typical workstation and laptop setups.

Advantages

This USB-C to USB-C cable offers USB4 Gen 3x2 performance for improved bandwidth management and backward compatibility with Thunderbolt 3 and USB-C devices. It supports ultra-high-resolution 8K display output and delivers fast data transfers up to 40 Gbit/s. The cable also supports up to 100 W power delivery for charging hosts and compatible devices while maintaining a short, convenient 0.25 m length for tidy desktop or docking-station connections.

Suitable for

• Connecting USB-C laptops to USB-C monitors or docking stations for video and data
• High-speed transfers with external SSDs and storage devices
• Use with Thunderbolt 4/3 compatible ports and devices requiring backward compatibility
• Charging and powering compatible laptops or devices up to 100 W
• Connecting peripherals such as eGPUs, VR devices, and 10GbE adapters

Key specifications

• USB version: USB4 Gen 3x2
• Maximum data transfer rate: up to 40 Gbit/s
• Video support: up to 8K output (via USB-C video-enabled ports)
• Power delivery: up to 100 W
• Connector type: USB-C to USB-C
• Cable length: 0.25 m
• Colour: Black and grey

How to use

Connect one USB-C end of the cable to the host device (laptop, docking station, or compatible peripheral) and the other end to the target device (monitor, external SSD, eGPU, or adapter). Ensure both devices support the required USB4/Thunderbolt or USB-C video and power delivery features to achieve 8K video, 40 Gbit/s transfer speeds, and up to 100 W charging. For optimal performance, use the cable for short, direct connections between nearby devices, such as between a laptop and a docking station or monitor.

Recommendations

Use with devices that explicitly support USB4 or Thunderbolt 3/4 to get maximum bandwidth and video capabilities; verify that connected monitors and peripherals support USB-C video and the required power profiles. Avoid excessive bending and keep the cable length short to maintain peak transfer rates and reliable power delivery.
