USB-kabel ShiverPeaks BS14-50030 2m USB A USB C blauw

The ShiverPeaks BS14-50030 is a 2 m USB 2.0 cable with a USB A connector on one end and a USB C connector on the other. It supports USB 2.0 data transfer speeds up to 0.48 Gbit/s and is finished in a distinctive blue jacket. The cable is intended for connecting devices that feature USB A and USB C ports for charging and data exchange over a standard USB 2.0 link.

Advantages

This cable combines a standard USB A plug with a reversible USB C plug, enabling straightforward connection between older hosts and newer devices. The 2 metre length offers extended reach for flexible device placement. The cable’s blue outer sheath provides visual identification among other leads and helps with cable management. Data transfer and charging follow the USB 2.0 specification for reliable compatibility with a wide range of peripherals.

Suitable for

• Charging smartphones, tablets and accessories from USB A power sources
• Transferring files between computers with USB A ports and devices with USB C ports
• Connecting peripherals such as external drives, hubs, and docking stations that accept USB C
• Use in home, office or travel situations where a 2 m cable length is convenient

Key specifications

• Connector types: USB A (male) to USB C (male)
• Standard: USB 2.0
• Maximum data transfer rate: 0.48 Gbit/s
• Length: 2 metres
• Colour: blue

How to use

Plug the USB A end into a computer, charger or other host device that provides a USB A port. Insert the USB C end into the compatible device’s USB C receptacle until it seats firmly; the USB C plug is reversible so orientation is not a concern. For data transfer, ensure both devices are powered and any required drivers or settings on the host are configured. For charging, verify that the host’s power output meets the device requirements; charging speed will be governed by the host and the device according to USB 2.0 limits.

Recommendations

Avoid bending the cable sharply near the connectors and do not expose it to excessive heat or moisture. For consistent performance, use with devices and chargers that conform to USB 2.0 specifications; higher-speed or higher-power uses require cables and hosts designed for those standards.
