USB-kabel ShiverPeaks BS77020-025 0,25 m USB-A USB-B grijs

The ShiverPeaks BS77020-025 is a 0.25 m USB 2.0 cable with USB A to USB B connectors designed for short-distance wired connections between computers and peripheral devices. It supports a maximum data transfer rate of 0.48 Gbit/s and features magnetic shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference. Nickel-plated contacts provide corrosion resistance and stable contact performance, while the grey jacket offers a neutral appearance for office and home setups.

Advantages

The cable's USB 2.0 specification ensures compatibility with a wide range of printers, scanners, audio interfaces and other USB B devices. Magnetic shielding improves signal integrity in environments with potential electromagnetic noise. Nickel-plated contacts increase durability and maintain consistent connections over repeated insertions. The short 0.25 m length minimizes cable clutter and signal loss for close-proximity connections.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs or laptops to printers and scanners
• Linking audio interfaces and external USB B-equipped devices to a host
• Short, tidy connections in workspace or studio environments
• Temporary connections for device setup, testing, or maintenance

Key specifications

• Connectors: USB A (host) to USB B (device)
• USB version: USB 2.0, up to 0.48 Gbit/s data transfer rate
• Cable length: 0.25 m
• Shielding: magnetic shielding for reduced interference
• Contact plating: nickel-plated contacts for corrosion resistance
• Color: grey

How to use

Insert the USB A connector into the host device such as a computer or laptop and plug the USB B connector into the peripheral device. Ensure both connectors are fully seated to establish a stable connection. Because this cable is short (0.25 m), position devices close together to avoid strain on ports. No driver installation is required for the cable itself; device drivers may be needed for the connected peripheral.

Recommendations

Use this cable for reliable short-range connections where minimal cable length is beneficial. Avoid bending the cable sharply near the connectors and keep it away from strong magnetic fields or high-power electrical equipment to preserve shielding performance. For longer runs or higher bandwidth needs, consider a cable with greater length or a newer USB specification.
