Vaddio Middle Atlantic WRK - kast - zwart - 40U - 48,3 cm (19 inch)

The Vaddio Middle Atlantic WRK-40-32 is a 40U freestanding rack cabinet engineered for demanding AV and IT installations. Unlike open-frame racks that leave equipment exposed, this welded steel enclosure provides secure, lockable protection with a 680 kg static load rating—ideal for housing heavy servers, amplifiers, and network gear. Its 19-inch mounting width and 559 mm usable depth accommodate deep equipment, while adjustable square-hole rails offer flexible positioning. Passive ventilation through vented doors keeps components cool without added noise, and the powder-coated black finish resists scratches and corrosion. Whether deployed in a data closet, broadcast suite, or corporate AV room, this cabinet delivers the durability and organization professionals require.

In daily use

Technicians will appreciate the WRK-40-32's thoughtful design: the reversible doors allow left or right opening to suit room layout, while the removable side panels simplify equipment installation and cable management. The adjustable rails slide to accommodate various equipment depths, and the square holes accept standard cage nuts for secure mounting. The cabinet's passive ventilation ensures adequate airflow for most equipment; for high-density loads, optional fan kits can be installed in the top panel. Lockable doors and side panels deter unauthorized access, making it suitable for shared spaces. The included casters allow easy repositioning during setup, and leveling feet ensure stability on uneven floors.
