uvex u-cap sport is a sporty, safe and comfortable bump cap designed to reduce the risk of head injury in situations where a helmet is not required. The cap combines a textile outer shell with an innovative hard shell element in an "armadillo" design featuring a honeycomb structure and shock-absorbing components. It is available in multiple size ranges and can be embroidered for individual identification. Colour: black.

Advantages

The uvex u-cap sport provides reliable impact protection in accordance with EN 812 while maintaining a lightweight, breathable construction. Its hard shell element with honeycomb structure disperses and absorbs impact forces, and the cap's sporty design offers comfortable wear for extended periods. Adjustable sizing ensures a secure fit.

How to use

Put on the bump cap so that the hard shell element covers the top of the head and adjust the internal fitting system until the cap sits securely and comfortably. Ensure the front brim does not obstruct vision. Inspect the cap before each use for visible damage or deformation and replace it if the protective elements are compromised. Follow any workplace-specific PPE procedures when combining the cap with other protective equipment.

Recommendations

Use the uvex u-cap sport where EN 812 bump cap protection is appropriate; do not use as a substitute for safety helmets required by regulations for high-energy impacts or penetration risks. Regularly check for wear and replace according to the manufacturer's guidance or after a significant impact.
