Verpakkingstape Tesa 4204, transparant polypropyleen, 75 mm x 66 m

Tesa 4204 is a transparent polypropylene packaging tape sized 75 mm x 66 m designed for general sealing and bundling tasks. It offers a clear finish suitable for visible packaging areas and provides consistent adhesion to standard carton and paper surfaces. The tape is intended for manual application or use with common tape dispensers and is formulated to maintain reliable performance during storage and transport.

Advantages

The tape combines transparent polypropylene backing with an adhesive that ensures secure carton sealing and neat package appearance. Its 75 mm width covers a broad sealing area, reducing the number of passes required. The product is resistant to light moisture and performs well across typical indoor storage temperatures, helping maintain package integrity during handling and transit.

Suitable for

• Sealing cardboard cartons and corrugated boxes
• Bundling lightweight items for transport
• General-purpose packing in offices, warehouses, and retail
• Applications requiring a clear, unobtrusive tape finish

Key specifications

• Backing material: polypropylene (transparent)
• Tape width: 75 mm
• Roll length: 66 m
• Adhesive type: pressure-sensitive adhesive suitable for paper and carton
• Suitable application method: manual or dispenser

How to use

Ensure the surface to be sealed is clean, dry and free of dust or oil. For manual application, pull the tape from the roll and press it firmly onto the carton surface, smoothing out any air pockets. If using a hand dispenser, load the roll according to the dispenser instructions and apply the tape along the sealing seam, pressing down to ensure full contact of adhesive and backing. For best results, apply at room temperature and allow adhesive to set before stacking or intensive handling.

Recommendations

Store the tape in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid applying the tape to very cold or extremely dusty surfaces. For heavy or brittle cartons, consider reinforcing the seal with additional strips or using wider or reinforced tape variants.
