Verrekijker Carson JR Series 10x42 BaK-4, compacte dakkantprisma, zwart/groen

Carson JR Series 10x42 binoculars combine a compact roof-prism body with 10x magnification and 42 mm objective lenses to deliver clear daytime observation for hiking, birdwatching and sports. The roof-prism design with BaK-4 glass and fully multi-coated optics improves light transmission and contrast. With dimensions of approximately 160×127×50.8 mm, these binoculars are pocketable for travel and outdoor use while offering bright images even in lower light conditions.

Advantages

The BaK-4 prisms and fully multi-coated lenses enhance image clarity and color fidelity across the field of view. A large 42 mm objective gathers sufficient light to maintain brightness at dawn, dusk or under tree cover. The binoculars are O-ring sealed and nitrogen purged for waterproof and fogproof performance, and the compact roof‑prism housing keeps weight and bulk low. The smooth, large central focus wheel enables precise adjustments, and the independent right-eye diopter lets users compensate for differences in visual acuity between eyes.

• Hiking and travel observation
• Birdwatching and wildlife viewing

How to use

Hold the binoculars steady and adjust the interpupillary distance until the field of view forms a single circular image. Use the central focus wheel to bring the subject into sharp focus. If your eyes differ in strength, cover the left objective, focus the image for the right eye using the central wheel, then use the right-eye diopter to fine-tune focus for the left eye. For low-light observation, allow your eyes to adapt to the ambient light and use a steady stance or monopod to reduce shake when viewing at 10× magnification.

Recommendations

Store the binoculars in their protective case when not in use. Clean lenses with a soft brush or lens cloth and use appropriate lens-cleaning solution for smudges. Avoid prolonged immersion in water; while the unit is waterproof, saltwater exposure should be rinsed with fresh water and dried thoroughly. For travel, secure them with a neck strap and keep caps on the objectives and eyepieces to prevent dust and scratches.
