Verrekijker Carson JR 10x42 BAK-4 dakkant, compact camouflageontwerp, 127×50,8×160 mm

Carson JR 10x42 BAK-4 Roof binoculars combine 10x magnification with 42 mm objective lenses in a compact, camouflage-bodied roof-prism design. The JR-042MO model uses BAK-4 prisms and fully multi-coated optics to deliver clear, bright views across the field of view. The instrument is O-ring sealed and nitrogen purged for waterproof and fogproof performance and includes a large central focus wheel plus an independent right-eye diopter adjustment for precise focusing.

Advantages

The roof-prism optical layout and BAK-4 glass provide improved edge-to-edge sharpness and contrast while the 42 mm objectives gather sufficient light for low-light observation. Fully multi-coated lenses reduce reflections and improve transmission. The compact Mossy Oak Break-Up Country camouflage housing reduces visibility in natural surroundings and the waterproof, fogproof construction supports use in damp or variable weather conditions. The central focus wheel is large and smooth for accurate adjustments, and the diopter control allows correction for differences between eyes.

Suitable for

• Birdwatching in woodland and open areas
• Hiking and outdoor observation
• Hunting where camouflage and compact size are preferred
• Fishing and shoreline observation

How to use

Hold the binoculars steady and set the central focus wheel to approximate focus on a target at typical viewing distance. Close or cover your right eye and focus the central wheel for the left eye first, then close or cover the left eye and adjust the right-eye diopter until the right-eye image matches the left. Use the large focus wheel for fine adjustments as distance to the subject changes. Store the binoculars in a dry place after use and keep eyecups and lenses clean for optimal viewing.

Recommendations

For best low-light performance, allow your eyes to adapt to ambient light before observing and use a steady stance or a compact tripod adapter if extended viewing stability is required. Clean lenses with a soft microfiber cloth and avoid harsh solvents.
