Use the diopter adjustment (if present) to compensate for differences between your eyes, then turn the large central focusing wheel to focus on the subject. For prolonged observation or higher stability, attach the binoculars to a tripod using the 1/4" (6.4 mm) thread; remember to remove the thread cover before mounting. Revert the eyecups to the folded or extended position depending on whether you wear glasses.

Recommendations

Store the binoculars in a dry place and protect the lenses with the provided covers when not in use. Clean the optics with a soft brush or microfiber cloth and avoid using harsh solvents. For best results in low light, allow your eyes to adapt and steady the binoculars on a support or tripod.
