Videokabel-adapter DeLOCK 82441

The DeLOCK 82441 video cable adapter is a 5 m cable that connects DisplayPort and HDMI interfaces, allowing devices with a DisplayPort output to be connected to an HDMI input and vice versa. The cable has a 6.5 mm diameter and is black in colour, providing a straightforward solution for transmitting video and audio between compatible displays and sources.

Advantages

This video cable adapter supports bidirectional connection between DisplayPort and HDMI devices, offers a 5 m length for flexible placement of displays and sources, and uses a compact 6.5 mm diameter cable for easy routing. The black jacket reduces visual clutter and matches most AV setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting a computer or graphics card DisplayPort output to an HDMI monitor or TV
• Connecting an HDMI source to a DisplayPort monitor (where supported)
• Extending display placement when the device and display are a few metres apart

How to use

Connect the DisplayPort end of the DeLOCK 82441 to the DisplayPort output of your source device and plug the HDMI end into the HDMI input of your monitor or TV. If connecting an HDMI source to a DisplayPort monitor, ensure the monitor supports an HDMI-to-DisplayPort connection or use an active converter if required. After connections are made, select the correct input on the display and configure the output resolution and audio settings on the source device as needed.

Recommendations

For best results, use the cable for direct device-to-display connections without excessive bending; avoid running the cable near strong electromagnetic sources. If connecting across devices with different signalling directions, verify compatibility or use an active adapter when passive conversion is not supported.
