Videokabel-adapter Helos 288464 DisplayPort naar DVI-D 0,1 m

The Helos 288464 DisplayPort to DVI-D video cable adapter provides a compact solution for connecting a DisplayPort source to a DVI-D display. With a cable length of 0.1 m and a small physical profile, the adapter is designed for use where space is limited, such as behind monitors, in AV racks, or at tight desktop setups. The product is supplied as a single adapter and is manufactured to meet CE, REACH, RoHS and WEEE environmental and safety standards.

Advantages

The adapter enables a direct, passive connection from DisplayPort to DVI-D without the need for bulky cables, reducing clutter and simplifying connectivity in constrained environments. Its short length minimizes signal path and mechanical stress on connectors while the grey and black housing provides a discreet appearance that blends with most equipment. Compliance with common safety and environmental standards ensures the adapter meets regulatory expectations for workplace and consumer use.

Suitable for

• Connecting a computer or laptop with DisplayPort output to a monitor with DVI-D input
• Short-distance connections behind displays or in compact AV installations
• Temporary or permanent desk setups where space is restricted

Key specifications

• Connector 1: DisplayPort
• Connector 2: DVI-D
• Cable length: 0.1 m
• Colour: Grey, Black
• Package contents: one adapter
• Standards: CE, REACH, RoHS, WEEE compliant

How to use

Plug the DisplayPort connector into the DisplayPort output on the source device and insert the DVI-D connector into the DVI-D input on the display. Ensure both connectors are fully seated and that the connected devices are powered off or set to safe operating states during insertion to avoid connector stress. After connections are made, power on the devices and select the appropriate input on the display if required. No additional drivers are required for standard video pass-through.

Recommendations

Use the adapter for short, direct connections only; avoid using it with long chain cabling. Inspect connectors periodically for dust or damage and avoid excessive bending or tension on the short cable. For active conversion between signal formats or longer runs, consider an active converter or a full-length cable solution.
