Videostekker ShiverPeaks 98931 UHF-coaxiale stekker voor audio-/videotoepassingen

The Video connector ShiverPeaks 98931 UHF coaxial connector for audio/video applications is a UHF (SO-239 style) coaxial adapter intended for analog video and RF signal connections. It provides a standard threaded UHF interface to couple coaxial cables and devices for video monitors, cameras and legacy RF equipment where a UHF termination is required. The connector is built to offer a stable mechanical and electrical connection in typical AV installations.

Advantages

This UHF coaxial connector delivers a straightforward mechanical coupling with a threaded interface that resists accidental disconnection. Its standardized dimensions ensure compatibility with common UHF male plugs and equipment inputs used in analog video and RF setups. The connector supports reliable signal continuity and is suitable for field or rack installations where a durable, serviceable connection is needed.

Suitable for

• Connecting analog CCTV cameras to monitors and recorders that use UHF terminations
• Linking RF test equipment or older broadcast devices with UHF female sockets
• Adapting or extending coaxial runs in legacy audio/video installations
• Temporary or permanent cable-to-device connections in studio or field environments

Key specifications

• Connector type: UHF (female threaded coupling, SO-239 style)
• Signal application: analog video and RF signals
• Cable interface: coaxial cable coupling compatible with UHF male plugs
• Mechanical: threaded coupling for secure connection
• Typical use environment: indoor and controlled field installations

How to use

Align the male UHF plug on the cable or device with the female threaded opening of the connector and engage the threads by turning clockwise until hand-tight. Avoid over-tightening with tools to prevent damage to the shell or dielectric. Verify the center conductors are making contact and that there is no visible deformation of the connector. After installation, check signal quality on the connected monitor or measurement device to confirm correct coupling.

Recommendations

For best results, use clean, corrosion-free cable ends and inspect connectors periodically for wear or loose threads. In environments with mechanical strain, provide strain relief for the coaxial cable to prevent undue torque on the UHF connector. When integrating with modern equipment, confirm compatibility of impedance and signal type, since UHF connectors are typically used in legacy analog and RF applications rather than precision 50 Ω systems.
