Vouwverzendenvelop MAILmedia B4 met garenversterking, wit/blauw, 140 g/m², 40 mm vouw

Folding shipping bag MAILmedia B4 with thread reinforcement is a paper mailing envelope designed for B4-format contents. Manufactured from 140 g/m² paper and featuring a 40 mm fold, the bag combines dimensional allowance with added tear resistance thanks to embedded thread reinforcement. It is intended for courier and postal shipments of documents, catalogs and other flat goods where safe handling and stackability are required.

Advantages

The reinforced paper construction improves puncture and tear resistance compared with plain paper envelopes while keeping overall weight low for shipping cost efficiency. The pronounced 40 mm fold allows accommodation of slightly thicker contents or small stacks of flat items without compromising envelope integrity. Thread reinforcement along stress points enhances reliability in automated sorting and manual handling, and the white/blue colour scheme provides a neutral, professional appearance suitable for business correspondence.

Suitable for

• Shipping B4-size documents and printed materials
• Sending catalogs, brochures and samples
• Courier and postal services requiring reinforced packaging
• Storage and stacking of flat goods during transit

Key specifications

• Material: paper with thread reinforcement
• Paper weight: 140 g/m²
• Format suitability: B4
• Fold depth: 40 mm
• Colour: white/blue

How to use

Insert items flat into the envelope, ensuring contents do not exceed the 40 mm fold allowance when closed. Fold and secure according to the envelope's closure method (adhesive flap or recommended sealing procedure). For best protection, place documents centrally to distribute stress evenly along the reinforced threads. Avoid overfilling beyond the fold depth to maintain sealing and to prevent damage during handling.

Recommendations

Check size and thickness of printed materials before choosing this folding shipping bag; use additional protection such as cardboard inserts for fragile or easily creased items. For high-volume dispatch, verify compatibility with sorting equipment and consider labelling on the smooth white surface for clear addressing.
