Vrijstaande rack Rittal DK 7507.200 15U grijs

The Rittal DK 7507.200 15U freestanding rack is a compact 19" cabinet designed to store and organize rack-mount equipment in small data rooms, network closets, and IT workspaces. Finished in grey and built with a sturdy frame, the rack provides space for servers, switches and patch panels while supporting structured cable routing and ventilation. Its 15U height and 700 x 700 mm footprint make it suitable where floor space is limited but professional equipment mounting and access are required.

Advantages

The freestanding design enables flexible placement without the need for wall mounting, and the solid construction ensures stability for mounted equipment. The 19" rack format is compatible with standard mounting rails and accessories, and the grey finish offers an unobtrusive aesthetic in mixed technical and office environments. Assembly is straightforward and maintenance access is practical, which reduces setup time and simplifies equipment changes.

Suitable for

• Small server installations and single-rack network nodes
• Telecommunications and patch panel mounting in network closets
• Edge computing and industrial control stations with limited space
• IT workbenches, test labs and equipment staging areas

Key specifications

• Rack format: 19-inch
• Height: 15U
• External width: 700 mm
• External depth: 700 mm
• External height: 758 mm
• Colour: Grey
• Freestanding cabinet layout with vertical mounting rails

How to use

Place the rack on a level surface that can support the combined weight of the cabinet and installed equipment. Install standard 19" mounting rails at the required U positions, then mount servers, switches and patch panels using compatible rack screws and cage nuts. Route power and network cabling through the designated openings or along cable management channels to maintain airflow and prevent cable strain. Leave adequate clearance at the front and rear for air circulation and service access.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, balance heavy equipment low in the rack to lower the centre of gravity, use cable management to avoid obstructing airflow, and ensure the installation area provides sufficient ventilation and access for maintenance. When installing power distribution units or heavier devices, verify the supporting floor and rack anchoring meet local safety guidelines.
