The DIGITUS IP55 Outdoor Wall Mounting Cabinet DN-19 09U-6/6-I-OD is a wall-mounted 19" network cabinet designed for outdoor and industrial use. The cabinet measures 600 x 600 x 600 mm, is constructed from up to 2.0 mm sheet steel and finished in grey (RAL 7035). It provides protection against dust and water jets in accordance with IP55 and supports standard 19" equipment on adjustable, galvanized profile rails with readable rack unit marking. The cabinet can be wall-mounted using the enclosed mounting bracket or converted for free-standing use with an optional plinth.

How to use

Install the cabinet on a suitable wall using the supplied mounting bracket, ensuring the mounting surface and fixings support the cabinet and equipment weight. Route cables through the insulated PG cable glands and fasten equipment to the adjustable 19" profile rails using appropriate screws and cage nuts. If ventilation is required, install an appropriate fan module in the roof filtered area and ensure the integrated fan filter housing is maintained. For free-standing applications, fit the optional plinth or use the pole-fastening set where applicable.

Recommendations

For sustained IP55 performance, inspect gaskets, door seals and cable glands periodically and replace any damaged parts. Do not compromise sealing when drilling or creating additional cable entries; use appropriate sealed glands. Ensure ventilation components and filters are cleaned or replaced according to operating conditions to prevent ingress of dust and maintain airflow.
