CEE 7/16 C7 koppeling Goobay 97347 1 m

The Goobay CEE 7/16 C7 Coupler by WENTRONIC is a mains power connection cable designed for safe, standardised supply of low-power electrical devices. With a 1 m cable length, support for 250 V and up to 2.5 A, this C7 (“figure‑8”) coupler provides a compact and durable link between appliances and a compatible CEE 7/16 plug source. The construction focuses on reliable contact, electrical safety and practical everyday use for consumer electronics and small appliances.

Advantages

This C7 coupler offers a standardized connection format that fits many audio, video and small appliance power inlets. The 1 m length balances reach and neatness, while the rated 250 V / 2.5 A capacity covers most low-power devices. The robust moulded connectors and insulated cable sheath are intended to reduce wear and maintain secure electrical contact over time. The product’s simple design makes it easy to install and replace without tools.

Suitable for

• Portable audio equipment (CD players, small amplifiers)
• Set-top boxes, DVD/Blu-ray players and media devices
• Small household appliances with C7 inlet (electric shavers, radios)
• Replacement power cable for compatible laptops and chargers with figure‑8 input
• Workshop and office devices requiring a standard C7 power lead

Key specifications

• Cable length: 1 m
• Connector type: C7 (figure‑8) coupler
• Rated voltage: 250 V
• Rated current: 2.5 A
• Cable construction: insulated two‑core mains cable with moulded ends
• Color: typically black (product dependent)

How to use

Insert the C7 coupler into the matching figure‑8 inlet on the device until it sits securely. Connect the opposite end to a compatible CEE 7/16 plug or mains adapter socket. Ensure the device is switched off before connecting or disconnecting the cable. Verify that the voltage and current ratings of the connected device fall within the 250 V / 2.5 A specification. Inspect the cable for damage before each use and avoid exposing it to sharp bends or hot surfaces.

Recommendations

Use this power lead in dry indoor environments and avoid using extension cords or adapters that can exceed the product’s rated current. Replace the cable if the insulation is cut, connectors are loose, or if the cable shows signs of overheating. For devices with higher power demands, choose a lead and connector rated accordingly.
