Glasvezelkabel Goobay LC-SC OM4 3 m roze

The Goobay LC-SC OM4 3m Pink fibre optic cable is a multimode 50/125 µm duplex cable designed for reliable high-speed data transmission in offices, industrial environments and data centers. It features an LC-duplex connector on one end and an SC-duplex connector on the other, both supplied with protective dust covers. The halogen-free, flame-retardant sheath and supplied test protocol ensure safe installation and documented performance for typical Ethernet transmission distances.

Advantages

This OM4 multimode cable supports duplex communication and is factory-tested with a protocol included for traceable quality. The halogen-free, flame-retardant outer sheath reduces hazardous emissions and improves fire safety in confined spaces. The combination of LC and SC duplex connectors provides compatibility with a wide range of networking equipment. The 3 m length and pink jacket help with organised, colour-coded cabling.

Suitable for

• Office network connections between switches, patch panels and optical transceivers
• Industrial communications where multimode fibre is required
• Computer centres and server rooms for short- to medium-range links

How to use

Inspect the protective dust covers before installation and remove them just prior to connecting the fibre ends to LC and SC ports. Route the cable without sharp bends to preserve fibre integrity and avoid placing it under mechanical stress. Plug the LC-duplex connector into the LC port and the SC-duplex connector into the SC port until they click into place. After installation, refer to the supplied test protocol to verify signal quality and correct links.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid tight bending radii and excessive pulling force during installation. Use colour-coded cabling practices where appropriate and store the dust covers until final connection to prevent contamination of the fibre end faces.
